Hyundai announced its return to WRC after 10 years of absence from the championship. For the same occasion, the Korean automaker announced it withdrawal from all sorts of motorsport in north America where they used to compete mainly in Formula Drift and the Global RallyCross Championship. Its new weapon will be a WRC version of its i20 small hatchback. Like all the WRC machines, the i20 race car will be powered by a turbocharged engine delivering nearly 200 Hp.
