After a very painful teasing process, Lamborghini fans couldn't wait any time longer to see what the Italian car maker was cooking for them. Happily we finally got to see what the Sesto elmento concept car looks like. And while it's instantly recognizable as a Lamborghini, it looks quite different from what we've seen before.
The Sesto Elemento concept from Lamborghini came to crown the results from the light weight materials research that the Italian car maker has been doing for years in partnership with several research facilities and universities. The result is a very futuristic and agressive looking car with a lot of sophisticated design elements that announce several styling elements from future Lamborghini supercars.
But this concept is not only about the looks. In fact the weight has been kept down to 999Kg (2,020 pounds) despite the presence of a massive V10 engine producing 570 Hp! This allows the raging bull to go from 0 to 100 Km/h (62 mph) in less than 2.5 seconds according to Lamborghini, and reach a top speed of 300 Km/H (186 mph).
This light weight concept car has given all the Lamborghini fans hope that we will finally get a proper light weight Lambo once the 700 Hp+ Jota will be out. Stay tuned for more pictures!
